I have a new phone and lost access to my MFA. How do I log in?
If you added a recovery number to your Screeners.com account, you can request a recovery code to regain access to your account. Please follow the steps below to request a recovery code.
Note: If you did not add a recovery number prior to losing your MFA, please contact support@screeners.com for help regaining access to your account. |
When you are prompted to enter your MFA code, click I don’t have my MFA toward the bottom of the page.
Then, click Send Code.
You will receive an SMS/text message that contains a one-time recovery code.
Enter this six-digit code, and click Verify Code.
The next page will confirm that you have successfully disabled MFA for your account. This means you can now log back in without your MFA. Once you log in, you will be able to re-enable MFA and access all your content on Screeners.com.
To log back in, click Return to Login.
Next, enter your email address, and click Send Magic Link.
Check your email inbox for a login email from Screeners.com. Click the Login Now button contained in the email.
You are now logged into Screeners.com. Be sure to re-enable MFA. First, click your user profile in the top right corner. Then, select Multifactor Authentication and look for the Enable MFA button.
For a step-by-step guide to enabling MFA, please see Enabling Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) as a Viewer.
What are the steps for logging in with MFA?
For a step-by-step guide to logging in with MFA, please see Logging in as a Reviewer with an MFA-Enabled Account.
What are the steps for enabling MFA?
For a step-by-step guide to enabling MFA, please see Enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) as a Viewer.
Why was I logged out after enabling MFA?
As part of the security process that pairs your device to our system, you are logged out of Screeners.com when you enable MFA. This logout is a one-time event in the MFA setup. You will not be logged out of Screeners.com each time you use MFA.
Once you’re logged out, please log back in by requesting a login link, opening the login link from your email, and entering the MFA code in your authenticator app.
Why am I logged out before I can enter the MFA code?
For security reasons, there is a two-minute window for you to enter your MFA code after you open the login link that was emailed to you. Once these two minutes are up, you must request a new login link to restart the login process.
Why isn’t my MFA code working?
Please confirm you are on the most up-to date version of your web browser. In your authenticator app, make sure you are looking at the MFA code for Screeners.com and not a different service.
If you added a recovery number to your Screeners.com account, you can request a recovery code to access your account and reset your MFA. To learn how, please see “I have a new phone and lost access to my MFA. How do I log in?” at the top of this page.
If you are still unable to access your account, please contact support@screeners.com.
