Streaming from your Screeners.com account is limited to one device at a time. Whether you’re trying to watch the same screener or different screeners in two or more places at once, concurrent streams using the same account are not supported. This restriction applies to streaming on an additional computer, mobile device, or Apple TV and to streaming in an additional browser, tab, or window on the same device. Single device streaming is a security feature that helps ensure the only person watching a screener is the intended recipient.
When you start watching a screener on a second device, playback on the first device will stop. For example, you can watch a screener on your computer and then continue watching it on your Apple TV; in this case, the screener will play on your Apple TV and stop playing on your computer. Note that each time you switch from one device to another, hitting Play will play a screener from the beginning.
When you start streaming on a second device, the following message is displayed on the first device: This stream has expired. Please make sure you are not streaming on any other devices, check your connection, and try again.
By clicking Retry, you can continue streaming on the first device and stop streaming on the second device. The newest stream always takes precedence. Note that clicking Retry will play the screener from the beginning.
